Question: Ok. There is an essay where I need to have a bing, bang, and bongo(strong point, stronger point, strongest point.) The question I must answer is Did the twenty fourth amendment create a better country. My two reasons are more voting, and less racism. What should the third be? The right of every citizen in the USA (except felons) to have a voice in government, because every citizen is part of what the Declaration of Independence says we are, "We the People". The people elect the candidates they feel most represent their own voice in matters. No American citizen should be silenced because of race or religion.

the easiest way to write an essay on a woman's right to vote, is take all the girls in your class back to when women had no say, absolutely no say in their lives. prior to voting, a young woman went from her fathers home, and was instructed by him how to think, and what to do with every minute of her time. whatever political affiliations he held was expected to be held by the daughter in his household, as well as his wife. even if, in secret, they vehemently disagreed. when a woman was married, and usually her father had a say in whom she was to be married to, then she went to her husbands home. sometimes, she even stayed with his parents until he made enough money to build his own home. now if the father of this woman gave her a dowry any money or property was immediately handed over to her new husband, as she was not allowed by law to own anything. you can see giving women the right to vote was not just allowing them in the process of electing a president, it was the beginning of them taking charge of their own lives and future. try to read the book or watch the movie, iron jawed maidens..you will see many women we actually thrown into jail for marching for equality and some even lost their children because their husbands could not tolerate them wanting something for themselves.

If you have health insurance either self paid or through your employer you can keep it. If work for a small company with less than 100 employees, most employers will have to provide health insurance to their employees (you may have to pay into the plans as most of us insured people do now). There are tax incentives and will be affordable plans to enable employers to purchase health care insurance. This applies to individuals who can not afford health insurance also. If you refuse to buy health insurance or into your employer's plan, you will be penalized. The penalties may enable the rest of us to stop paying for your care through higher medical costs, higher premiums, higher co-payments and higher deductibles. It doesn't thrill me when some rich kid gets in an accident, runs up a $100K bill in a hospital and skip out on that bill and we pay for that and have been paying for the uninsured for well over 20 years.

The United States is fundamentally based on the idea of equality, which is embedded in the Constitution. Abolishing poll taxes gives everyone the chance to vote, thus securing the blessings of liberty.

promotes democracy and involvement in government i wouldn't say it deters racism by the way......that would be implying that certain races of people typically have less money more like does not discriminate economically
