I'm so much of a procrastinator!! You're right, I probably shouldn't have opened this question and started attempting to write my response, because I'm actually supposed to be doing homework right now =) I have a project thats due this Friday, on a power point presentaion, and I've yet to start on it. This year, in 11th grade, I've been procrastinating more than usual. Last year I barely procrastinated unless I had to write an essay. This year, every single homework assignment I get I begin to procrastinate. I wish I could change my procrastination, but I'll have to get over it later.

I have the same sort of problem. What worked for me was figuring out how to truly care about what you're putting off. Think of the emotional consequences. Will putting off your homework cause you stress? Will you feel crappy for not doing it? That's what my motivation was.

I don't think this an easy habit to break. You are avoiding and I get it. But the end result is failure. That isn't your way is it? Set the alarm and promise yourself to complete one major task when it rings. You choose. Then, if not already, get dressed and do the next thing. The day will progress with you or without you. Plod on and then rest. Try it again the next day until you train yourself to get up and get moving every single day, like it ot not. Eventually, it becomes a habit. It took me five days to wake up. The idea that you can't is truly in your head. If you can type you can write. If you can think you can eat and drink. If you can sleep you can awake. If you can be sad you can be amazingly alert. Yes, they stem from the same baggage. All is at your fingertips. Take it one little emotional issue at a time but wake up, my friend.

Laurena Originally Answered: how do we change from km to m?
we have an easy conversion: 1 km = 1000m Now, you try to divide both side by 1 km and see how it works 1 km/ 1 km = 1000 m/ 1 km 1 = 1000 m/ 1 km If you have a measurement of 3 Km and want to change it into meters. It's very simple 3 Km = 3 Km* 1 (if you multiply any number by 1, this step won't change the initial value) = 3 Km * 1000 m/ 1 km (substitute 1 with 1000 m/ 1 km as we discussed earlier and you can see why they told you to multiply 3 by 1000) Now cancel the Km in the numerator and the denominator, all that left is only meters = 3000 m. And that's how you convert the measurement from Km to m.
