Question: The sharp bang of a gun pierced my ear. I stirred slightly from my sleep and, with an aggravated groan, I threw a pillow over my head to cover my ears. This type of wake-up call is common at my house, but I have not become immune to the noise. The crack of my father’s nail gun still jolts me from my dreams every Saturday morning.

-- Never be afraid to re-read and try different phrasing -- The bang from the gun was loud and piercing. I stirred and with an aggravated groan I woke up slightly. The kind of awake where you are still asleep yet aware of your surroundings. Annoyed I pulled the pillow over my head to try and muffle the memory of the sound. Despite the fact that the gunshots were frequent and not an unusual occurrence in my house, I wouldn't say that I am used to it. The crack of my father’s nail gun still jolts me from my dreams every Saturday morning.

Yes, but I would avoid putting "pierced" and "ear" in the same sentence. It sounds too much like "pierced ears" and throws the reader off.

Many people see Love in different ways. From puppy Love to a strong relationship that lasts till lifetime. And as we grow older, our view eventually grows deeper and more mature. Let me tell you a Love story that I knew from one of my friends. During his elementary days, this guy is in Love with their classmates who has higher honor than him. To impress the girl, he took the challenge to be on par with her but he cannot as he’s still out of par from her. And this girl has the thing to their dumbest classmates. Isn’t it ironic then?
