Question: My story is about these two little kids selling lemonade and this ninja old lady steals their cups. They battle and the kids lose so they go to the store to buy some more, but the store is out. I already have the conclusion written, I just need a few more main events to put in the story. It has to be a page and a half long with 12 font & so far it's not even a full page. Please help, this is due tomorrow! The more creative the ideas, the better! I'm open to anything just make it somehow fit in the story and keep it clean. Thanks! -Carly<3(: Ha, I'm like twelve.. and this is for english class. It's a really gay project, but oh well :)

My only advice is as to process. Be methodical and relentless. Let the characters speak to you. Take time to dream. Be ruthless in editing, but remember at last why you are doing it all in the first place. Make that stick. Edit: Research sub-cultures.Know any gang kids ? Jocks ? Put your protagonist in a world at once strange and familiar. Push what you know to the limits. Talk to people you wouldn't normally talk to and relate their experience with your own. Have you ever been in a fight ? Do you know how it feels ? Start from this.

Mmm. Don't have people react to his homosexuality or romance. Have his relationship seem just like everyone else's and make him not a gay man--but a man who's gay. If that makes sense :)

Wow, that's one mundane story! Lemonade cups get stolen? That's really not dramatic at all... Sorry. If you need to keep the same story, then you need to shake it up to make it interesting. And wtf, an old ninja lady?! Lol! I think you can make this funny, add in something like, the ninja lady also bought all the cups form the shop, so to get lemonade cups, the kids have to sneak into the old ninja ladys house and "borrow" them. What kind of story is that?? Bwahaha. What if another lemonade stand competes with the kids, and they steal all their customers?

One of mu favorite events of the 20th century was the creation on the League of Nations and later the United Nations- both were human creations designed to increase discussion and cooperation and decrease war. The UN created the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, one of the most uplifting documents ever adopted. The creation of antibiotics is clearly progress, as well as the development of the personal computer.
