Question: how has the changing population of the nation changed polotics? what was impact of the internet and computers on american society?

Our nation has gotten more diverse (race, gender issues, socioeconomics, etc.) over the past few decades, and politicians have had to adjust their campaigns accordingly. In other words, politics and politicians have to appeal to the majority and therefore to as many different people as possible. Sometimes this has come at the cost of certain people, i.e. the minority. The Internet and computers have made American society move much more quickly. It's becoming very easy to almost instantaneously connect with people from around the country and around the world. Products and services are becoming increasingly digital, which in turn is making things move even more quickly. The Internet and computers have also made us aware of how connected we are to the world around us, as news and information can travel in an instant. As a result, the things that we do as a nation - both good and bad - are visible everywhere, which can also affect our relationships with countries and the people in them - as well as in our own country (going back to politics). These were just off the top of my head, so I can't really go into too much detail, and I can't give you any sources as of now.

Ok, this requires several steps. He needs 6 boards, so 6 times \$4.50 = \$27.00 He needs 4 brackets, so 4 times 70 cents = \$2.80 He needs 12 screws, so 12 times 25 cents = \$3.00 + _____ \$32.80 Dennis sold 11 humidors for \$39.99 EACH. So it's 11 times \$39.99 = \$439.89 \$32.80 - \$439.89 = \$407.09. His profit is \$407.09.

The local hardware store charges \$0.25 per screw, \$0.12 per nail, \$0.70 per bracket and \$4.50 per board. Dennis needs 6 boards, 4 brackets and 12 screws to make a humidor. If Dennis sells 11 humidors for \$39.99 each to a local shop, how much profit does he make on the entire sale? \$27 + \$2.80

If someone does this for you, you don't benefit from the exercise. So let's break it down. Go back to your textbook and write out the definitions to the terms your teacher wants you to address. --What is the definition of federalism? --What defines a nation? --What are the powers of state governments? (For comparison, write down the powers of a federal or national government and see which ones are similar and which ones are different from a state government. For instance a federal government can issue money, a state government cannot.) Then think about the state of California as though it were a separate nation. Then think of it as a state. Should a populous and influential state have it's own seat at the United Nations? Why or why not? What about other states in a similar situation? (New York or Texas.) What about very large cities? New York City, London, and Kong Kong all have populations larger than many independent nations. Should they have seats at the United Nations? Where do you draw the line? Hope this will get you started.

The internet and computers gave a generation fast access to information, and if allowed mundane tasks to be done automatically and very quickly. the internet has allowed America to be more infromed with all the worlds info ready at a click. computers over all allow for faster calculations, massproduction, and managment and record keeping.

It's OK. Here's a different take: Although Pharaohs primarily bring to mind power and responsibility, they also bring to mind the ancient rulers Ramses the Great and Cleopatra.
