Question: I am about to be promoted this week as a Finance Supervisor and the turn out of the events are so quick I just don't know what to do or the expect from that job. I'm absolutely clueless. I will be oriented anytime this week and I know deep inside of me that the job ahead of me is like a huge mountain to climb. Sorry you have totally misunderstood my question. They entrusted me this position because of the fact that I am one of the best employees in their company. During our their annual strategic planning it was reported there that the revenues were on record high and I was one of the key elements of why they achieved that so basically, that's the reason why I will get promoted but this position? I know where I am good at but this one totally surprised me. Last week I was being briefed by the HRAD Manager about this and I thought yeah I could handle it but as the time gets nearer and nearer the nerves start to kick in. Until now I feel like I'm in a dream. I'll wait until it's being officially announced in the entire company. (sigh) It feels like a huge rock being put on top of my shoulders. I hope I can get through with this. @ Franz Oh sht! My golly! @ Max Are you trying to be sarcastic? Mind you I already posted this question in Business Section and yet I still get no answers to date. FYI.

Well for starters, how about trying the following: #1 Cleaning your room and making sure that it STAYS clean and tidy. #2 Making sure that your homework is done and handed in on time. #3 Sweep the floors in the living room and kitchen without your parents asking you to. #4 Wash and/or dry the dishes. #5 Do not fight and argue with your sisters & brothers. #6 Eat what you are given and don't whine or make "yuck" faces when given it. #7 Don't talk rudly to adults #8 Always share with other kids. #9 Go to bed when you are told to. #10 Research the pet and breed you want to be 100% certain that it is the right one for you. # 11 Ask them about getting this new pet in a nice way and don't beg and whine about it. If 100% sure that if you give those a try, they will see that you are serious about wanting to add a this pet to your life and family. :)

Horses are expensive. You are asking your dad for a lot of money - far more than you can earn. You may be asking for more than he can afford. Most people don't have that kind of money to spend every month on this. He has other expenses to pay for besides a horse for you. Maybe you need to wait until you can make enough to afford it yourself. You may be responsible but you are asking for too much. EDIT - I'm sure your dad is glad to know you think $800 is a not a money problem. You seem to have no problem spending his money. How long would it take you to earn $800 - not so easy is it? What happens when the horse has a $1,000 vet bill?

You're clueless and they promoted you? Sounds to me like they are looking for a fall-guy to take the rap when the money turns up missing. Good luck, you're going to need it.

In my role as supply teacher, I have provided general cover to both primary and high school grade levels. My management skills both inside and outside the classroom are strong. My experience in dealing with group behavior inside the classroom and individual behavioral needs one-on-one qualify me for a supervisory position. I believe my creativity, my caring, and most of all, my patience, are excellent qualities that will serve me well in this position. good luck
