Question: Here is a little bit of info. I am a single mother, work full time. Also attend college for nursing. I am 5'6 and weight around 235. I used to weigh 160lbs. Due to having 2 miscarriages and stress, I gained weight. Plus a car accident earlier this year. I am wanting to loose weight and get back to 160lbs. According to body mass index, it says that I should be 115-140. The thing is with my body type. Im really muscular so whatever my weight is, I look smaller than I am. When I was 160, I was a size 12-13. I lost 90lbs in a year and a half after I had my daughter. My question is I need tips on loosing weight. I know about the lean cuisine meals and working out. Yet, with me working full time 9am-530pm. I get home around 7pm. Then I have to help my daughter with her homework, fix dinner. By the time I am finished, It is 9pm. Then I have my schoolwork, which I get done with that around 11 or midnight. Any tips on what I can do?? It is different this time around because when i lost weight before, my daughter was 2 and I wasnt in school so I had the time to work out more frequently. Thanks in advance

Id recommend you start eating 1900 calories. 850 from protein/850 from fats/200 from carbs. You will have to make your own meals to meet those numbers above. Not buy lean cuisines. can you join a gym and go at lunch? That would be perfect. I have a busy schedule too and that's what I do. I don't want to miss my time with my kids. So, the absolute best way to lose that fat is to eat like i mention + lift weights 3-4x per week for 45 mins + do 30 mins of cardio 3x per week. That's the recipe for success. Its up to you to fit it in if you want it bad enough. There is tons more info I can give you about the diet portion if you're interested. feel free to ask. I just don't want to type it all up if you aren't cool with it. good luck!

For grades, try to study for test more, look at your weak and strong subjects and see what you need to improve on, homework or tests. To loose 10 pounds, this is what i would do, run a little everyday, soon it becomes a habit and you burn calories. If you want to sing better, join choir or the glee club. If you dont want to do that, talk to the choir teach after school, im sure he/she would be happy to help you

I would start just be watching calories per day, that's what I did and lost 35 pounds within 10 months. I'd start with counting how many calories you have per day now, then try to decrease that by 500-750 per day. Also cut out regular sodas and drink water, or flavored vitamin waters that they have at grocery stores and gas stations, and try not to eat at restaurants... unless it's like Subway or Chick-fil-A or something where you can get something half decent. : ) Hope that helps some.
