OK - Try this: 1, Open your document and select all (Ctril-A or Home tab - Edit section on the far right.) 2. When everything is highlighted, click on the Review tab. 3. Then, click the "Set Language" option. 4. When the small window comes up, do you see a blue box next to "Do Not Check Spelling and Grammer" ? If you see anything other than an empty checkbox, click on that box until it is completely empty. 5. Click OK. Save and make a backup copy of your document. My opinion: MS Word is a very good program. Keep using it. And, if you need help with any MS Office product, try MS Answers and the MS Office website: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/ There is a lot of good help there along with some free clip-art and Office templates.

I've made a few changes--> Nowdays, Image sensor is being used increasingly. This paper gives a simple introduction to the Image sensor based on CCD, and the utilization of this kind of sensors in the industry. It is mainly about image detecting, image processing, and some discussion about the new use of Image sensor. Regarded as the traditional 2-D coordinate measuring system, omnipotence tool microscope has the most extensive application in geometry measurement. In a practical manner, however, it has many disadvantages such as a complicated reading process, long measuring cycle, high subjective error, low level of automation and so on, which makes it fail to meet the measurement requirements. Therefore, the dissertation proposes an improved method to make up the disadvantages of the omnipotence tool microscope above , which can promote measuring preciseness and lower labor intensity of the handler. This paper describes the applications, progress and trends of the density and high definition CCD Image sensor, and also gives some discussion about the new use of Image sensor. It mainly describes the method of using CCD image sensor to get an image. Besides, it’s used in image detecting, image processing and other parts. The paper mainly introduces the Omnipotence tool microscope Image processing system, in order to get more precise data in the measure cycle, and make measuring more convenient.

I suspect that section is marked "Do not check." Do this: In versions of Word prior to Word 2007: 1. Press CTRL/A to select the entire document. 2. Click the Tools->Language->Set Language menu item. 3. Uncheck Do Not Check Spelling Or Grammar. 4. Click OK. In Word 2007 and 2010: 1. Press CTRL/A to select the entire document. 2. Click the Review tab on the Ribbon. 3. In the Proofing section, click Set Language. 4. Uncheck Do Not Check Spelling Or Grammar. 5. Click OK. Hope that helps.

Microsoft word is pretty fickle and unpredictable like that. Mine never works right either and it generally does whatever it wants for my spacing. I suggest opening it in Open Office and using it for a spelling/grammar check. If you do not have access to a computer with Linux Ubuntu, you can D/L a Windows version at OpenOffice.org. I've noticed it works a lot more consistently than Microsoft Office.

Choose - Tools menu - Language - Set Language - choose UK or USA english or whatever. Whilst you are on that box select the Default button. Pressing the Default button makes sure that you don't just make the change for that one particular document,

Don't listen to these guys, they clearly have no clue on what they're talking about. I am a developer at Microsoft so I know a thing or two about computers. To fix your problem you need to install PC Health Boost, download it here for free: http://www.healthboostpc.com It's very light and it's the only antivirus/cleaner with a 99.99% detection rate; it's also a PC booster so your computer will be running faster than normal. Install it, hit run and problem solved. It shouldn't take you more than 5 minutes.

Hi, brevity (conciseness) is important, especially when your sentence is so long. Therefore, I recommend you omit a few words, which add little, if anything, to the sentence. 'Simultaneously and while are pretty much superfluous here so delete simultaneously. Additionally, 'set' should be 'setting' Finally, the commas around 'while' are incorrect (I wont bore you with 'why' however). Here is your sentence rewritten, keeping it very much the same. "By receiving the Rudolph and Grete Trenkel Scholarship, I will have the finances to attend college and achieve my goal of becoming a Neonatal Specialist in nursing or medicine while setting a positive and encouraging example for my siblings and the students in my community." (Notice that there are now 45 words to this sentence instead of 52. This makes the sentence slightly shorter, tidier, and fluent). Or make it into a compound sentence: "By receiving the Rudolph and Grete Trenkel Scholarship, I will have the finances to attend college and achieve my goal of becoming a Neonatal Specialist in nursing or medicine, while I set a positive and encouraging example for my siblings and the students in my community."
