There was one story I wrote called the Circle of Sunlight. It was about a post-apocalyptic world taken over by Vampires (yeah, I know). It had TEN MAIN CHARACTERS! But despite that, at the time I had a firm grasp on all of my characters and their personalities. I've always wanted to re-write it, just for the fun of it, not for publication, but I never got around to doing it. Here's the story if you're interested: http://www.fictionpress.com/s/1934381/1/... I wrote that in...2005 it says. It feels like longer than that...*shrug*

I agree. The Constitution means nothing to the left and this could open the door to more government control. Liberals wet dream. These are award-winning performances of Washington hypocrites outraged by the AIG entitlement beast they nurtured through four massive bailout infusions. Have you noticed Obama and congress acting so outraged and surprised, but yesterday we learned that he signed the very bill that quite clearly made those bonuses legal — the $787 billion stimulus package he had traveled around the nation promoting. http://www.foxnews.com/politics/first100... The bill includes restrictions on executive compensation, but creates an exception for bonuses contractually obligated before February 11 of this year. The provision, and the exception, were inserted into the bill by the chairman of the Senate Banking Committee, Chris Dodd (D, Conn.), who has received more than $100,000 from AIG employees in the last 20 years, had written and inserted the relevant provision, with the relevant loophole. http://www.foxbusiness.com/story/markets... How can he, the president, or anyone else who voted for the stimulus, suddenly act surprised? Don't tell us they didn't read the bill. The presence of this loophole, in black and white, certainly gives the lie to all of this phony outrage — by the senator who created the loophole, by the president who signed it into law, and by everyone else who voted for the stimulus package. As that flogging ritual takes place, hark! Tiny Tim Geithner hears the distant sounds of yonder bus wheels thumping. Will they throw him under the bus. On with the show… o_O

I had to write plenty of stories for class when I was a kid, but I never really thought about re-writing them or making the more sophisticated. Couple of weeks ago I dug through some boxes and found some stuff back from 4th grade. Nah, the plot and everything was just sort of mashed together and it's hard to knock it into shape. I find it much more satisfying to come up with something fresh and my ideas from back then lack maturity anyway.

Yes, the story I'm going to be write for NaNo is based on a story I wrote in third grade. I've written out the plot and added subplots and I think it is really good.

I've thought about doing it, but my story ideas were /so lame/. Seriously...I don't think rewriting could even fix my terrible plot ideas. /laugh You live and you learn, no?

We love against time We love against rules We love against work We love against school We love through it all No matter when or what The strenghth of our bond will tie us With the kind of love we've got. Sometimes it takes different directions To lead us to the same place but I know in the end of this journey We will come again face to face. For the present time I'll wait And carry you in my heart Because there is no end for us baby, Never will we part.
